Rules holding the international children's and youth film festival “Light of the World. Children - 2024" International Children and Youth Film Festival “Light of the World. Children" is held annually in the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation. Nominations of the International Film Competition: 1. Fiction films; 2. Documentary films; 3. Television report; 4. Animation; 5. Music video; 6. Social video; 7. “Without Borders” (video works created with the participation of children with disabilities). Applications for the International Film Competition “Light of the World. Children - 2024" is accepted from February 1 to June 1, 2024. The results of the qualifying stage of the international competition are announced no later than September 7, 2024 in the festival group https://vk.com/svetmiru2013 and on the website http://yargymn.ru/kinofest. The authors of video works that qualified for the finals of the Festival are invited to the final events of the Festival, which will be held on October 11-14, 2024 in Yaroslavl. Children's film and television studios, as well as individual authors under the age of 18 (at the time of creation of the competition work), can take part in the Festival. Important! Films made by adult professionals, in which children are only actors, are eligible for participation in the film competition “Light of the World. Children are not allowed! Video works created no earlier than 2021 that have not participated in previous competitions “Light of the World. Children". Each work must be accompanied by subtitles in English or Russian! The participant who submitted the application must guarantee the copyright of the submitted works. All responsibility for compliance with copyright rests with the participant. The number of works from one team (author) is not limited. Participation in the Festival is free. Travel of participants to the venue of festival events and accommodation is carried out at the expense of the festival participants themselves or the sending party. The educational, entertainment and excursion programs, as well as lunches for participants of festival events, are paid for by the organizers of the Festival. In each nomination, the jury selects the 10 best films, the authors of which receive a winner diploma (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) or a finalist diploma. The best film of the festival will receive a Grand Prix diploma. It is not necessary to come to the festival. You can participate in the competition in absentia. Diplomas to all winners and finalists of the competition are sent by e-mail.
